Carta is looking for an Account Executive to join our Investor Services team, based in Sydney, Australia.
Carta expanded to the Asia Pacific region in 2021 and we are building a world-class team to support the venture capital and private equity ecosystems. Most of our team is based in Singapore, with a small number of remote employees based around the region, including in Australia.

Evangelize Carta’s unique value proposition to the Australian VC and PE markets
Map and communicate the business impact of our product offerings to key decision makers
Identify and communicate effectively with Go-to-Market Leads new areas for business growth
Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor
Drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting
Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close
Develop a comprehensive go to market plan to prioritize and execute against the opportunity in Australia, in partnership with your cross functional leads.

About You

4 years in a sales or business development role of a fund administration or fund operations business.
Understanding of venture capital private equity as an asset class
Understanding of fund administration services / fund operations
Experience outbound prospecting, networking and building relationships
Managing a pipeline, and closing sizable deals
Articulate, poised, and concise
Flexible, adaptable, and resilient - Comfortable working in a high velocity startup environment
Self-starter, humble, problem-solver and adaptable to change
Candidate must be authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship

Nice to have:

Understanding of SaaS businesses, or experience in a SaaS sales role
