Services and Solutions RD unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Residential Flow , Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem. KONE’s maintenance tools like KONE Android Mini Console (mobile based application), KONE Pro-Manager (Web based application), Fault Viewer, etc., are utilized day-to-day by our 30+ thousand field personnel for elevator and escalator intelligent maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting and commissioning. We are now looking for, M2M Solution Owner to join the team of experts at the KONE Services Solutions RD. You will work together with other professionals to develop advanced KONE digital solutions that leverage the latest in cloud and connectivity technologies. You are a cloud development expert who is passionate about designing and implementing solutions for our connectivity solutions. You are familiar with the software development patterns and can turn the architectural plans to concrete SW designs. You understand and appreciate the modern SW development practices. You work at your best when you are working with people, and you enjoy helping others. You will work in a key role inside our Agile SW development team. Your closest colleagues will be other developers, test professionals and the PO of the team. You will be part of KONE Technology and Innovation unit’s Maintenance RD Tribe. Main responsibilities include, Working knowledge of global M2M connectivity and technologies Basic understanding of regulation that impact the M2M connectivity Experience of predominant wireless/wired technologies Expert knowledge of networking – LAN, WAN, TCP/IP protocol suite, IP addressing, Routing and DNS Good Understanding of telecom business process Telecom Domain expertise (GSM, IoT, M2M, 2G/3G/4G) – Must Knowledge of CS and PS domain Understanding of new and emerging technology (LPWA/NBIoT) Understanding of IoT protocols be able to lead complex infrastructure changes on the telecom domain be able to execute and lead activities for product futureproofing (i.e. 5G etc) act as KONE counterpart of various vendor technical lead/architects team lead (collaborating with Operational manager) complex troubleshooting on telecom domain solutions understanding on vendor management practices (contracts, SLAs, operating manuals etc) represent domain telecom expertise in KONE SAM studies, technologic forums and other Knowledge of E-sim technology Expertise in solution and designing skills in IoT environment To be successful in this role, BE / B.Tech or Masters in EEE/ECE/IT 5 to 7 years of experience We offer, As KONE is a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, this is a key role and a great opportunity to build the future cities through improving how people live, work, and play in the cities and to help us continue innovating and making magic happen also in the future.
