Maintain a thorough comprehension of internal AML typologies relating to Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, and Investment Banking clients Participate in departmental projects and initiatives Participate in Scenario testing to improve model effectiveness Stay up to date on any new rules, regulations, and reputational risks to further ensure/improve our investigation processes Understand business and regulatory requirements and ensure functions are being performed/meeting requirements Skills You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree Moderate as an AML investigator in a transaction monitoring and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) writing capacity or equivalent experience or education Knowledge of AML laws (USA PATRIOT Act), Regulations (The US Federal Reserve (Fed), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)) and their application to the supported products/business lines An understanding of the legal and compliance issues of complex banking organizations, and Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, or Investment Banking experience Operational knowledge of USD payment systems, including Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, La Hulpe, Belgium (SWIFT), CHIPS, ACH, and Fed Funds, and using third party investigation software a plus Skills That Will Help You Excel Able to demonstrate strong written and communication skills Effective decision-making skills and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and accurately prioritize workload with minimal supervision Meticulous with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask Ability to identify, escalate and communicate issues to management in an effective and succinct manner Expectations Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion. The salary range for this position in New York City is $60,000 to $90,000 and Jacksonville is $40,000 to $65,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
