Responsibilities Engagement and professional development of international scholars to empower their successful transition and integration into NTU and Singapore. Student support and case management a) Work with Student Care Managers and other NTU administrative departments, to identify and provide relevant support services for international scholars, both academic and non-academic. b) Plan and implement programmes for students, to help them better integrate academically and socially. Plan and implement programmes and initiatives that inculcate the importance of diversity and integration at NTU. Support the development and implementation of policies and practices which enhance integration within NTU. Collaborate with and provide advice to student leaders as well as faculty and staff, to educate and raise awareness on integrative practices. Preparation of reports for submission to regulators and NTU senior management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in any related field from a recognised University. Good working knowledge on the transition and integration of international students in higher education. At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience which involves considerable interaction with students or youth. Some experience in organizing events and experience in the tertiary education sector will be advantageous. Strong drive to initiate, plan, implement and deliver integration initiatives on time and on target. Possess critical and lateral thinking skills. Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills (written and verbal). Ability to work collaboratively with university students and colleagues from diverse cultures and disciplines. Passionate in nurturing young people and challenging them to achieve their desired career goals.
