The School of Biological Sciences is seeking an experienced candidate to join our graduate team. The candidate will handle end-to-end administration of the programme throughout the student lifecycle, including student admission, handling student enquiries on academic consultations and managing programme website. Responsibilities Provide admissions support for postgraduate programs. Handle the entire PhD candidature process i.e., including Thesis Advisory Committee, Qualifying Examination, thesis submission, and Oral Examination. Process postgraduate leave applications i.e., Leave of Absence, Conference / Training Leave. Process applications for short Internship Programmes i.e., Non-graduating students, including India Connect Research Programme. Assign duties to Teaching Assistants. Maintain records for the Graduate Assistant Scheme hours. Keep postgraduate student records up-to-date. Manage school websites with graduate-related information. Oversee Graduate Student Club matters. Handle requests related to change of supervisor, candidates’ downgrade/extension/termination matters. Support the coordination of postgraduate events, including Young SBS Scientist, Seminar Series, and 3-minute thesis. Any other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned. Requirements A recognized degree in any discipline. Familiar with students’ curriculum related matters, to support admission and student academia. Have related working experiences in an academic environment and handling students’ cases. Good organization communication skills. Able to multitask under given deadlines. Independent, passion meticulous. Positive and open mindset.
