As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above; • Coach and lead staff; • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients; • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen; • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues; • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients; • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand. Job description • Work in teams to support financial due diligence, commercial due diligence, stand-alone cost assessments and value capture analysis; • Participate and lead planning, generating information/data requests, preparing management discussion agendas, developing client workshop content and the final deliverables; • Identify synergies, efficiencies, and cost savings opportunities associated with the front office and/or back office functions; • Identify post-deal issues including one-time capital expenditure requirements, run-rate costs, separation costs, and transition services requirements; • Support with business development. Skills and qualifications required • Completed University degree in business field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management), Bachelors in Math will also be considered; • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience (corporate finance / external audit / financial reporting / transaction support); • Minimum one (1) year of experience as an in-charge / senior / team lead; • ACCA or CFA candidacy / membership is an advantage; • MBA / Masters or equivalent in related field is an advantage; • Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage; • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both English and Russian) with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity; • Ability and willingness to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the skills to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions; • Candidate needs to be adaptable, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team; • Ability to comfortably interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and mature manner; • Strong work ethics, integrity and judgment; • Strong intellectual curiosity; • Highly organized, detail oriented, proactive with strong interpersonal skills; • Strong technology skills with Excel, Power Point.
