Senior Quality Engineer Summary We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users. Our Microsoft Office add-in gives LSEG Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make smart decisions in daily business. Essential Skills and Experience Analyse software and quality requirements and document test plans Design, develop, review and implement integration, system, acceptance and end-to-end test strategies Assess and report on software risk and release readiness 5+ years experience building test automation for web, desktop and api solutions, working with scripting languages JavaScript/Typescript, and selenium based test automation frameworks and api test tools such as Postman Automation and manual testing for multi-tier, on prem and cloud based integrated solutions Actively participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements and estimates of work. Understanding of object-oriented programming and working with test automation frameworks Minimum 3 years’ experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment) Experience with build and test integration tooling including Jenkins, GitLab Understanding of financial markets, experience testing financial software a plus Candidate Key Behaviour A passion for learning and innovation is critical. High attention to details and strong communication skills with ability to work under pressure. Ability to grasp technical and domain knowledge quickly is critical. Switch between both Automated and Manual Testing on demand basis Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Interested in the evolution of the Investment Banking, Equities, FX, and Trading landscape. Stays up to date with best tooling and emerging technologies.
