JOB SUMMARY: In this role you will work as part of the field leadership team overseeing the construction of 56 new homes, with future plans to potentially construct 686 homes. You will direct subcontractors/trades in planning, coordinating, and executing the work safely, on time, and within budget. For individuals who need to maintain their permanent residence outside of the area, they may be eligible to receive an allowance for maintaining duplicate housing, along with paid travel home twice a month. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work anticipated to be performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all that may be required. Maintain a robust understanding of Lendlease's safety requirements. Hold trades/subcontractors accountable, and assist them perform within those requirements through pre-task planning, monitoring construction site activities and conditions, taking immediate corrective actions to non-compliant work. Help drive Lendlease's strong safety culture on a daily basis. Develop a thorough knowledge of the project's plans and specifications. Continually review and bring forth to address any anticipated issues. Consistently observe, inspect, and test the quality of work in progress to ensure work is delivered to quality expectations and rework minimized. Diligent documentation through photos and inspections of project quality through all phases of the project. Maintain detailed daily reports reviewing all works installed, documenting important conversations/inspections, manpower counts, quality/safety observations, and site cleanliness. Monitor resources (including manpower, materials, and temporary works) daily against the project plan. Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule. Ensure work progresses in compliance with the schedule and collaborate to resequence work when needed to make up lost time. Clearly communicate the sequence and schedule updates to subcontractors and vendors, holding them accountable to their agreements and working with them to plan and meet their deliverables. Help create and maintain the project site logistics plan. Coordinate material deliveries and movement of equipment on the site to ensure safe and efficient work. Ensure a complete and accurate set of as-builts is maintained. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Prior field experience constructing single-family homes on a production (track) scale. Possess the skills to manage sub-contractors (trades) in the field, including trade coordination, creating and enforcing schedules, safety, quality control, site logistics planning, and knowledge of related building codes. Requires strong leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills. Share in the company's unwavering commitment to being Incident and Injury Free. Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements, and current OSHA 10-hour certification. General understanding of safe rigging and hoisting practices. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as skilled in working with computer-based scheduling software (Primavera / P6, SureTrak, or Microsoft Projects).
