This role entails leading a team of Area PTP leaders, who collectively are responsible for ensuring on-time payment of invoices to vendors, manage daily volumes and coordinate with various groups to ensure timely and accurate workflo w handling and payments to vendors. It is expected that the Regional PTP/AP Manager has a capability to think beyond numbers and combine numbers with business performance, strategy and financial insights. Key responsibilities would be: Regional PTP/AP manager will work with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside of the finance and operations organization to improve the controlling and data quality around operational cost reporting Supervise the Performance of Team to meet all agreed SLA through KPI monitoring including invoice receipt to pay cycle on time payment to vendors proper monitoring of SAP outstanding purchase orders on a frequent basis Ensure that no outstanding purchase orders are more than 90 days old without proper documentation. Ensure proper scheduling of Team activities and no lapses in service delivery Assist in all finance related audits impacting overall area of responsibility. Take an active part in implementing new strategies based on audit recommendations and ensure changes/amendments to Standard Operating Procedures based on these recommendations. Perform detailed cost analysis and provide management reporting based on this analysis. Ensure that analysis is correct and timely. Tie in financial analysis to operations and provide easy to understand financial data for operational decisions. Support on Working capital initiatives for the Region Ensure detailed reports for decision base are being presented to management always. Constantly improve the analytical and reporting tools which are either complex excel models or access databases in line with the changing business requirements. Regular review of critical vendor outstanding including regular escalation of pending workflows to drive on time payment to vendors Regular review of aged items in both credit and debit balance Ensure 100% compliance on RICC requirements including performance of RICC control as per control manual requirement. Required Skill set: Preferable educational background Master’s in Finance Management/ Degree in Finance and Accounting with a good understanding of control framework Stakeholder/Vendor Management Account handling Minimum 9 years of experience handling P2P operations and Cost controlling, cost accounting, PL analysis etc. will be an added advantage Handled Team size of 30+ employees. Knowledge of budgets, financial statements, and cost control Capable of connecting business performance to financial numbers Good in Excel skills system savvy (to support hands on use of SAP, Business warehouse other operations systems used in Damco) Good analytical and structured working method High competency in written and verbal English Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Influence without authority Good interpersonal, presentation and cooperative skills.
