The candidate is responsible for the on-time delivery of all tasks on a project with electrical deliverables in Crushing to packing areas. Cement Industry FLSmidth equipment knowledge, as well as its application within FLSmidth Electrical solutions is required. Site experience is preferable. Manages scope and mitigates risk. Your responsibilities The CI Project Lead is responsible for the following: Project team Coordination: Act as leader for the project engineers assigned to the area of responsibility and ensure good teamwork. Support team members according to individual needs. Assess as-sold hours, project schedule on deliverables and work out project planning and coordinate information flow with other Project Lead Electrical. Supporting team in getting information from internal sources/product groups Supporting team in getting information from suppliers Prepare project specific design criteria according to procedures and share to team. Participate in project meetings and report status and progress on deliverables. With particular focus on requisition planning and report need for rescheduling in due time. Carry out QC on CI team deliverables. Project time schedule Electrical Plant Design Manual Plant Basic Design Data Contract Flow Diagrams Instrument specifications and Vendor document review. Electromechanical equipment specifications and Vendor document review. Project Specific Cable list Cable dimensioning Sheet Single Line diagram General Plant Layout Main Power Cable List Local Network Layout Drawings PLC I/O's LV, MV - and FQ Circuit diagrams Functional Break down (Control plant structure) Project Status: Makes sure that status list (Component level inside metis is updated weekly or alternatively "Pending Item List" is updated weekly. Issues a progress report periodically Issues a time budget report periodically Independently/proactively supervises progress versus project time schedule and sends warning to CI project coordinator in case of any upcoming conflicts (min. 4 weeks in advance) Project Engineering: On time delivery of documentation On time delivery of information to other groups according to procedures and project planning Ensure that consistency is performed throughout project execution. Meet expectations on deliverables according to standards and specifications applicable for the project Carry out QC on CI team deliverables. Coordinate with Instrumentation lead for Instrument transmitter measuring ranges. Coordinate with Electrical Installation project manager for cable export and voltage drop Update instrumentation on process flow diagrams What you bring The CI Project Lead shall be a team player and dedicated in his/her area in addition to the following: CI Engineer with Bachelor’s degree (ICE/ECE/EI) with 7-9 years of experience. 5+ years of specific experience in executing CI engineering and related engg. Deliverables. Shall be proficient in VISIO to good degree. Basic understanding of Cement plant process and departments preferred. Familiarity to CI Engineering work flow. Documentum handling for file storage/Versioning. Language handling (Russian/Spanish etc.) for Projects. Preparation and communication of Weekly / Monthly reports of project status. Maintenance of QC records. Identifying non-standard requirements in project and escalating to Product specialist for solutions. Ability to share knowledge. Ability to work in a global team. Taking team along with by guiding them in achieving project milestones. Contributing to the technical development of Design/Tools/People in own team by providing/sharing inputs from his/her projects on non-standard project requirements and solutions for those.
