Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country Be fluent in oral and written English Have the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the country you have applied Be prepared to enroll yourself with different activities and projects, being the owner of them and having an active voice to be part of the team and the company in a large scale As a Digital Sourcing Intern you will: you will learn the technologies that help the buying and strategy teams communicate and transact with a global supply base in a multibillion-dollar leading Energy Technology company. The activities include optimize buying activities within leading ERP systems like SAP Oracle systems, and support the training of global teams on a optimized/best practice way of using such tools through MSFT team meetings and in person. This role is very hands on, learning with internal teams identify areas and use cases to deploy BOTs AI to reduce manual workloads across a global enterprise function residing in US, Europe, LATAM, Eastern Europe, Asia and Middle East with an impact to 2K+ buying and strategy personnel. As an intern, will also help create online Microsoft APPs and robotic automations that help everyday teams complete their tasks. These automations will support the function grow on their digital journey within the Sourcing/Procurement leveraging existing toolkits. Key assignment will be to evaluate where are the pain points in the organization. Once pain point is found, through collaboration and teamwork, lead deploy solutions that support and generates business cost out and efficiency for Baker Hughes. You will also learn routine tasks, and prepare Process Flows for the buying and strategic sourcing function, and collaborate with Strategy leaders globally, and technology teams to find the most lean and optimized approach for each task in a process map. After understanding the key technical requirements with Sourcing and Buying, collaborate with DT to identify the technology that would support that task. Interact with technology partners to understand functionalities of systems, as well as buying teams and sourcing teams to clarify any questions for their problem statements. You will learn and apply optimization techniques to create and deploy optimal process, reduce costs and increase efficiencies to help Baker Hughes improve margins. You will learn products SAP Oracle best practices and system automations, Microsoft Power Platforms – Power BI, Power APPs, Power Automate, UiPath – Robotic Process Automation, and C3.ai’s Enterprise AI solutions set. In this role our interns will learn lean methodology, and how systems and technology can support teams of tomorrow through technology. The Sourcing/Buying function support multiple types of commodities including: metal-mechanical, chemicals and/or plastics commodities; in this role, it would be also good to understand different manufacturing processes such as CNC Machining capability (Lathes, Mills), Plastic Injection, Forging, Assembly lines through visiting Mexico Suppliers and visiting our local manufacturing factories in Mexico. You will learn the current sourcing processes and the Procure to Pay Process, along with researching the new changes coming in this space – to keep the organization in the front end of adoption of such technologies and approaches. Each project we take on in Sourcing Digital, would require understanding what would be the business benefit of the project – the savings it would generate? Or the efficiency it would create by reducing work hours? Directly impacting the business outcomes. As a intern, we would required to run analytics to monitor the usage of the created tools, and progress after the implementation, reporting out to key leaders the outcomes. You will be required to understand what good data looks like, and bad data – and support cleanliness in the systems. You will interact with several levels within the organizations, and sometimes external suppliers. Starting from buyers, sourcing leaders, executives, and many times Supplier owners and including General Managers, Sales Managers, Quality, Production and Engineering personnel. You will interact with the global supply chain and functional teams to understand and alleviate a solution. Desired Requirements Microsoft Office – Medium to Expert. Microsoft Power Platform – Power BI, Power Automate, Power APPs – Medium to Expert. RPA – UIPATH free online courses (required to learn) Excel – Advanced (or learn fast) Power Point – desired (required to learn) Power BI, data analysis tools – Basic Comfortable and open to learn technical information.
