About the Role:
We are seeking a Technology Business Consultant Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for business analysis, product configuration, requirements gathering, and testing. You will work closely with clients and internal development teams to achieve project goals.

Our Policy Admin Suite (Compass) is a flexible insurance policy administration system that supports multiple business lines and a wide range of products. We are committed to providing our clients with a modern and efficient policy administration system.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams, client teams, and project managers to understand and analyze client requirements.
Document business systems requirements for business unit or function.
Configure the Compass application to meet client requirements.
Create appropriately formatted business specifications based on client requirements.
Obtain sign-off on requirements from the client.
Present client requirements to the design team to ensure a clear understanding.
Participate in design sessions for the development and customization of functionality.
Ensure accurate reflection of client requirements in logical specifications produced by the design team.
Assist in the development of test plans.
Provide support in resolving production issues.
Report on progress and manage activities according to the plan.
Experience in testing life insurance products dealing with policy administration systems.


Requirements:

8 to 12 years of experience as a business analyst in the financial services industry, with business analysis and testing experience.
Strong business analysis knowledge in the life insurance industry.
Familiarity with relational databases and technical skills such as SQL, Oracle, UNIX, and Excel Macros would be a plus.
Experience with any Insurance Policy Administration System would be a plus.
Excellent communication and analytics skills.
Knowledge of SDLC and requirement gathering techniques.
Insurance Domain certification would be considered a plus.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proven self-starter with problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to travel occasionally (no more than 10%).
